High Power Laser Turret
Designed, built, and tested a 115W 450nm Laser array turret platform with automated tracking and engagement using computer vision and automatic focal length adjustment
3D Printed Stealth Drone
I am desiging and testing a custom 3D printed drone that I have designed with low observability in mind. For this particular portfolio item, I will not show images until it is complete as to keep particular fabrication and assembly techniques to myself. The drone makes use of multiple well known and some sparsely known stealth techniques, and will undergo testing at various radar frequencies.
Rocket Avionics Bay
Designed, built, and tested a custom 3D printed avionics bay and parachute release system for a L1 and L2 rocket
Magnetron Sputterer
Designed and built a Magnetron Sputterer from scrap microwave parts for the purpose of thin film deposition and crude semiconductor manufacturing
Sonic Phased Array
Designing and building a phased array for 40KHz ultrasonic transducers for use in drone to map its environment with a sonic beam
BEAM Chaos Bot
Designed, built, and tested a robot that would follow a Chaotic acoustic source and only that source. Chaotic signal from beacon would be hidden in the noise floor of most detectors, allowing the robot to navigate without its beacon being detectable. Featured on UAH news
